Women do all they have to do, all they are asked to do, they want to help the city, They want help to have the rights, to vote.

Women want to have more power or rights over more than just the household, they want to be allowed to vote.

Not only were the women activists, but they also took part in
social betterment. Education and school reforms, the settlement of houses, planting trees, and building hospitals were some things they took part in.

Women's Daily Life

While men were out at work the women were to take care of the children, and do housework. Technology and the decline in family sizes caused women to become more involved in reform movements.

The 1880s

During the 1880s, more and more women's groups appeared. Due to segregation, middle and upper class women formed their own clubs.

Whats the Purpose?

Whats the purpose of women's suffrage groups? They were formed so women could fight to have  equal rights with men.
